Along with a team of talented collaborators, developed a mobile application to allow users to view information about Phoenix's light rail line.
Initial development of the app was done for iOS, then an Android version was created, using slightly different design characteristics to match the "feel" of each platform. Android version was designed to support versions as old as 2.3 to reach a wide audience.
iOS Ruby on Rails Android
Developed a service to notify college students when a class has a seat open up. A process periodically visit's their college's web site, checking to see if there are any seats available in the class they want. If a seat becomes available they are notified by email and/or text message.

Created a process to populate ASU student/faculty/staff directory data in an Apache Solr search engine. Provided a pilot Solr Cloud multi-server environment with shards and replication, hosted on Amazon EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk.
Java Apache Solr
Developed a web site to provide information on New York City bars that will play sporting events on TV. The site allows a person to select a sporting event, and see which bars will host the event, what drink specials they will have, etc.
